Elaine Pamphilon is a new young painter based in Cambridge, England. Her paintings include vivid, colourful still lives and landscapes, many of them from scenes in Cornwall. In addition to her outstanding work, usually executed in acrylics and oil on paper, she is a talented harpist. Her vibrant paintings are inspired not only by the rich visual environment of her home, but also also the Cornish coast. Her paintings and images contained therein move freely beween the abstract and purely visual.
